Hrm.

I can't say that work has been dull over the past few weeks. I don't think that there is such a thing as a boring day, especially in the anime division. Still, somehow I find myself getting fidgety. I think it's because I haven't been home in a while... I tend to get lonely sometimes, even when I'm surrounded by people. It sounds strange, I know.

Well...

No one has asked yet, but I thought that I might explain things now and avoid having to repeat it in the future.

As you might have heard, I am indeed a plant. A very sophisticated and advanced plant-type species from a planet far from Earth in a universe much like some that one might find in anime continuums. Even though I'm not a mammal, my species has evolved rather similarly to humans in a lot of ways...

So, yes, this is my real form. I can do some things that humans can't, and vice versa, but the difference is overall the fairly technical details.

My culture is also somewhat different. Some have likened it to elves or fairies. I suppose you could call me something of a dryad. We are an inherently magical people, though we don't actually use this to do anything except to deal with plant life. Our planet has all sorts of plants, though we are the most advanced by far.

I am typical of my people in most ways, I guess. Including the fact that I have a general love for all living things.

We do form close bonds of friendship, but monogamy is something of an unknown concept. We don't see sex as being anything bad, or something that shouldn't be talked about. It's a part of life, and a good part, so that's that.

Generally we're completely bisexual. Sex for the sake of reproduction is one thing, and that takes a male and a female, of course, but that only happens once a year.

Hm. I think that's about it. If I've missed anything important, I suppose it'll come up.
